A couple of cards I made for my Niece's 18th Birthday

Hi all wow what a gorgeous day it has been. I have put the trampoline back up for Marc and Chloe - hope this gorgeous weather lasts the Easter holidays.

At the beginning of the week a special Niece was 18 and I wanted to show the cards I made.

First is a gorgeous cute bear holding a teddy stamped image (I got this free from a Magazine) which I have coloured in using pro-markers. I have just kept this simple.

The second I have used a Forever friend stamp imaged ( I thought I was actually buying the stamp when I bidded on these on ebay but turned out to be an image that what I get for not reading properly before bidding). I coloured image in with pro-markers and finished off with glitter on the shoes. The backing paper is flocking paper and I finished off with peel off ribbon, brades and flower emblishements.

Forever Friend Birthday Card

Hi all managed to get a couple of cards made - I have decided especially when Chloe starts full time school to devote Tuesday and Thursday to crafting days and then I can at least get a few cards made and not trying to do housework constantly feeling like I am that hampster on a wheel and not getting much of it done (especially when they return home and the house looks like a bomb has just been dropped.

Well my two have been invited to a birthday party tomorrow. So using my gorgeous new Forever Friend stamps ( from the Good Life Range) I put together this gorgeous card - nice to have some for the men for a change. i stamped my image on circle nestie die and then I coloured in using pro-markers finished off by using scalloped edged nestie background - backing papers are from The Good Life (A5 pack) and finished with peel offs.

pro-markers used:
Vanilla, poppy red, black, meadow green

2 more Christmas Cards

Hi the next two cards are a couple more Christmas Cards I have made for snoflake's Christmas Card challenge (however I have fallen behind in this so I am thinking of dropping out) I have made alot of cards but because I have quite a few using the same style and image and technique I think it is unfair to submit them (as I am hoping to be selling a few more this year - fingers crossed) and also I cant seem to juggle everything in at the moment still - crafting - school run both morning and night with Chloe still being at nursery - excersie - spending time with family etc.. (not sure how some people manage - my hat goes off to those who can.

Anyhow the cards :-

the first is just a simple 6 by 6 inch card - using Forever Friends Christmas stamp coloured in using pro-markers and finished with a bit glitter and gems. (for colours of pro-markers used please see christmas topper post below thanks.)

The second is this gorgeous little girl angel which was a free digi stamp - not sure where I got it from but if anyone interested in here I can e-mail just let me know. I coloured her in using pro-markers and finished with a bit glitter on her wings.

Hopefully can get a few more cards made which are not Christmas next week ....

Popcorn bear Mother's Day Card

Hi all, turning out to be a gorgeous sunny day here. Hopefully we get a good summer this year.. fingers crossed. I have made a start on Chloe's and Marc's Christmas cards for school - as I will have about 60 or more to do. I will concentrate on the Teachers ones a bit nearer the time I think when I find out who they will be getting.

Since all I have in my head is still Christmas it was good to make my mam's Mother's Day Card and start using some lovely spring/summer colours.

Well the card, size is A5, the stamp imaged is Popcorn bear which I have coloured in using pro-markers (unfortuntely I colours image in a while ago and cannot remember the exact ones I have used). Which I have finished with glitter on the petals of the daffodils. Background papers and paper boarder is what I have had in my stash (got kit from Create and Craft a few years ago) and finished with a flowers at the bottom and gold ribbon up the side.
