Forever Friends Christmas Card

Hi all what a miserable rainy day. So been enjoying myself crafting. Chloe my 4 year old, yesterday decided to cut her own hair - omg I thought I am going to see what she be like with short hair. When John took her to hairdresses he could not let them cut much of length but got them to tidy it up as best as they could. Which I am pleased just means hair tied up until it grows back into nice length again.

Well the card is Forever Friends image coloured in with pro-markers and finished off with glitter and flowers. Backing papers from papermania Festive Frolics and Fizzy Moon Festive Fun.

I am entering this card into Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Snoflake Christmas card Challenge on Docrafts

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge - my card entry

I have decided I am going to try and particpate in more of the blog challenges in order to keep myself active in my crafting. I know if I dont keep myself motivated daytime television and games on facebook will win me over and I rather do something productive (I know that is no excuse for willpower but if I can just sit about I will). At least with my crafting I am up and downstairs for my stuff so keeping a bit fit at same time.

Parchment Butterfly card

Hi all - one of the teachers at Marc and Chloe's school asked me to make a birthday card for her mam's 60th birthday. This is the first I have made going to try and make a couple more today and see what she likes. She informed me her mam likes butterflies.

The card is 6 by 6 - I have backed with purple holographic card (bought from Wilkinson's - children craft section) and added glitter die cut butterfly (bought of ebay - a while ago) then finished with glitter ribbon from Hobby Craft.
