Also 2 Christmas Cards

I have used the same cute bear image but in different ways. The image is from Kanban I absolutely love this image.

Firstly I embossed some pale blue vellum with snowflakes (cuttlebug snowflakes) which I used as my background paper. I then stamped the cute bear onto a square piece of card (create and craft range from Wilkinsons) which is 8 by 11 and then coloured in using pro-markers. I then back with blue holographic card (again from Wilkinsons but in the kids crafting section). Finally I finished with words "Merry Christmas" a snowflake and some blue gems.

The second card I actually cut the image out and placed in the centre of a pre-cut frame which I got in Kanban Christmas Topper pack from QVC, using 3d foam. Finished with the words "Merry Christmas" and gems.

pro-markers used: for bear tan (pastel blue on first card tummy and feet)

hat - red berry

also used glitter on the rim and pom pom on hat.

Managed to make a few cards yesterday

Hi all -- apart from being happy for the half term break and not having to go backwards and forwards to school I managed to make a few cards yesterday. Marc and Chloe broke up on Thursday. Unfortunately for us the xbox 360 has gone off more Marc so now the house is full of army vehicles and men. Chloe is not as messy as Marc. To be honest had a better day playing with toys than actually on computer.

Anyway back to the cards. I firstly going to show the general cards I have made. Three altogether, two happy birthdays and one baby card.

The first is a Forever Friends image - I got from ebay - I thought I was buying the actual stamp (that is what I get for not reading the wording properly) - coloured in using pro-markers. The backing paper is off a big 12 by 12 pack John got me off QVC 4 years ago - finally got the courage to start cutting things up. finished with flowers and gems.

The second is the free stamp I got a magazine again coloured in using pro-markers. The backing is actually a card pack I got of Create and Craft and because I did not know what I wanted to make with these cards I decided to cut some down and use them as background. Also image is stamped on a scalloped edge nestie die. Again finished this card with gems and butterfly.

And the third card is using LOTV baby stamp again coloured in using pro-markers. I embossed the card down the left hand side and finished with gems. The frame in which I have placed the gorgeous baby image is off the Christmas Kanban topper pack I got from QVC. Then I have finished with the words "Congratulations" and Baby Boy" and white flowers which I have put on some glitter at the bottom right hand corner.

I recently bought myself some Forever Friend Wedding Stamps.

The card is size 6 by 6 - backing paper is from my sister stash who had a clear out before Christmas not sure where she got it from. I have used scalloped edged nestie dies. The Forever Friends image is coloured in with pro-markers and glitter on her veil to finish. Then I finished the rest of the card with flowers and gems.

Kanban cute Christmas Bear stamp

Hi all what a miserable Sunday it is today pouring down with rain here. Marc and Chloe getting up to mischief but I have managed to create a little crafting area all for me where I can now hide away (not sure how long for but hopefully a least a couple of hours a day).

Well today at my new crafting area which is upstairs away from all the distraction I have managed to make this simple card using Kanban stamp coloured in using pro-markers and glitter snow on hat. The background papers I had in my stash. Then finished with a bit ribbon down side, a couple of foam stars and a few gems. The card is approximately 6 by 6.

pro-markers used
Tan
Pastel pink

Lili of the Valley baby card - boy

Hi all managed to make a quick card today I have been stamping lots of images and practising colouring them in constantly trying to get a better technique with the pro-markers I think I am getting there but still need to get more practise and more colours. The card is 6 x 6, background card I had in my stash (A friend had a big craft clear out a couple of years ago and I bought a lot of her and the papers are from a create and craft butterfly and fairies - pack which is when the cards are mainly done for you but you just havent a clue what to do when you get it home so I have taken to cutting them up are backing cards and papers.) The image is LOTV baby stamp which I have coloured in with pro-markers and finished with glitter on his blanket(size of topper is 7 x 10. I then finished with ribbon and a flower with a gem in the centre. I have also used some silver ink round the outer edge of the nestie scallopped die cut and finished with the words "Its a Boy" and just a couple of gems.

I am starting to list a few of my cards on ebay along with some die cuts.

pro-markers used:
pastel blue
powder blue
almond
blush
dusty pink

I am hoping to make another card tomorrow - fingers crossed but I am definitely going to allow myself to have a crafting day with Marc and Chloe on Saturday.
